Shyane Williams
Hey y’all! My name is Shyane Williams! I am from a small town in Northwestern Montana and am a rising senior in both college and in the band. I am studying computer science and business administration! I chose USC because I grew up in a small town and wanted a HUGE change. USC was the perfect place for me to gain a new perspective and see what life in a big city was like.
When I joined the TMB I had no musical experience and it was always my biggest regret leaving high school. However, the marching band has given me such an amazing opportunity to learn and grow musically! As for joining the Greatest Marching Band in the History of the Universe (EVER!) It was a very last minute spontaneous decision for me and it has been AMAZING! My favorite memory would have to be seeing Chicago for the first time with the altos!
When I have free time I love to try new crafts such as crochet, embroidery, or painting. I love to host games nights, and try new restaurants in LA!
Jadon Gamboa
What’s good y’all!!! My name is Jadon and I am a rising junior studying Health & Human Sciences with a minor in Health Care Studies on the pre-medicine track. I’m originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and I love meeting new people, hanging out with friends, playing sports, watching movies, exploring LA, and singing along with friends! I joined the band because I love college football (especially USC football), but I also fell in love with the ENERGY of “Hollywood’s Band”. My favorite memories in the band so far are beating UCLA in the Rose Bowl and traveling to Dallas for the Cotton Bowl! I chose USC for its many academic opportunities, diversity, and memorable student life in LA. If you ever see me around, don’t be afraid to say hi!!! Fight On!!!!
