Tenor Saxes

Tyler An

Tyler is a sophomore in band, and is this year’s section leader for the Tenor Saxophone section! He will be graduating next fall with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Business Law with the intent of going to law school. Before joining the TMB, he played the saxophone for seven years, but he never had any marching experience. His favorite TMB memory was undoubtedly taking the field for halftime with nearly 900 band alumni during Homecoming. Here at USC, you hear the phrase “Trojan Family” used a lot. So much so that the term starts to lose its meaning and even begins to feel a bit cliché. But that afternoon against the Arizona Wildcats, there was no better phrase to describe the atmosphere.

A fun fact about him is that he loves to surf! You can probably find him at the beach in the morning before class. He can’t wait to get to meet all of you soon! FIGHT ON!
