Brandyn Gonzaga
Hello everyone! My name is Brandyn Gonzaga and I am from Santa Clarita, California. This upcoming fall I will be a third year in band and a senior at USC; studying Legal Studies with a minor in History.
Pretty much all of my teen to adult life I have been playing music. I started my musical journey in junior high as an elective and then worked my way up through high school doing marching band, concert band, and jazz ensemble. Throughout that six year span I have played Baritone Sax, Tenor Sax, Bass Clarinet, and Clarinet.
Now, I’m in the The Greatest Marching Band in the History of the Universe, (Ever)! It has honestly been an amazing experience making great friends and countless memories along the way!
Hobby wise, I play ultimate frisbee, watch football, and I also like anime. I am also quite nerdy so I like Star Wars and Marvel movies as well! 🤓 I cannot understate how amazing my USC experience has been so far. I highly encourage anyone who wants to find a friendly and tight knit community at this university to join the TMB! Fight on! ✌🏻
Bethany Reid
Hey y’all! My name is Bethany, and I’m from New Orleans(-ish), Louisiana! 🦞 I’m currently a junior (soon-to-be senior) at USC, and I’m studying Global Health on a pre-med track.
I played tenor for two years in high school before joining the TMB as a tenor, which has been my first (and best) experience in a marching band! (Shoutout to my dad for making me join!) ❤️💛
In my free time, I love reading, very rarely practicing the piano, and being silly with the tenors 😎 (Fun fact! Shake Shack is my favorite place to eat, and I think it’s better than In-n-Out, sorry not sorry 😋!)
Despite being so far from home, I’ve loved being at USC and in LA in huge part because of the Spirit of Troy and the amazing friends and memories that I’ve made since joining. I’m so grateful for the time I’ve had here so far, and I can’t wait for the Big 10!✌🏽
