Beau Carabajal

Beau is a Junior studying Human Biology! He started playing trumpet in junior year of high school after playing clarinet since the 5th grade. He quickly improved his trumpet playing skills and is now one of the section leaders for the trumpet section. Beau loves watching any and every movie as well as taking long drives anywhere with good friends. His favorite memory of the TMB is playing with Shaq at Shaq’s Fun House. There is nothing like spending your night at a carnival wearing your TMB uniform and sunglasses!

Kayla Lewis

Kayla is a junior studying Linguistics and Cognitive Science. She hails from San Diego and has been playing trumpet since the sixth grade, but had no prior marching experience when she joined the Spirit of Troy. She knew she wanted to join the band from the very first time she heard them play Fanfare. Kayla enjoys popcorn and Thrifty-brand mint chip ice cream (not sponsored), as well as attempting to skateboard. Her favorite part of the TMB uniform is the sunglasses, and her favorite TMB memory is getting slimed on the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards!
