Jeff Collins
Assistant Director and 10-Piece Band Director
Jeff Collins joined the Trojan Marching Band in 2005 and has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. While a trumpet player at Cal Poly, Mr. Collins was a member of the school’s Concert, Jazz, Salsa, Pep and MIDI bands. Mr. Collins has participated in the 10-piece band since his first year with the TMB and joined the Laker Band in 2008. After his undergraduate years, Mr. Collins continued his membership in the TMB as a Teaching Assistant before becoming the Director of the 10-Piece Band in 2014. When Mr. Collins is not running a 10-piece, he works as a professional musician in Southern California.
